It’s interesting how society expects us to naturally master emotional regulation as we grow older.
The reality though, is that many of us aren’t equipped with the skills to do this healthily, often because we haven’t been taught or the examples we’ve had around us may not have shown us how to navigate emotions constructively.
We do know though that emotions are an essential part of our lives, and when we push them down or ignore them, they often resurface in unhealthy ways.
OUR APPROACH
There’s a strong belief that success in life hinges on our ability to navigate the full spectrum of emotions.
At Better Days Counselling, our focus is on helping you build awareness around your emotions, their triggers, and how they influence your thoughts and behaviours.
Through this process, you can develop the skills to respond to emotions with greater confidence, balance, and self-compassion.
