Sometimes you reach a point where something doesn’t feel quite right, even if you can’t fully explain it.

You might find yourself overthinking, second-guessing or feeling stuck in ways that are hard to shift.

This is a space to make sense of your experiences, understand the patterns that have shaped you, and begin to shift them in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.

Whether you are navigating a life transition, questioning who you are, or wanting to understand yourself more deeply, this work is about helping you move forward with clarity and a better understanding of yourself.

In practice, this means we take the time to understand what’s been shaping how you think, feel, and respond, rather than focusing only on what’s happening right now.

Often, things start to become clearer as you begin to see where certain patterns or reactions have come from.

I work collaboratively with you to explore your experiences, while also recognising the strengths you already have, even if they don’t always feel obvious.

The way we work will depend on what you're bringing and what feels most useful, but the focus is always on helping things make sense, and finding ways forward that feel realistic for you.

I offer individual counselling in Melbourne for people navigating life transitions, identity, and personal growth, or wanting to better understand themselves and their relationships. Sessions are available in Mont Albert and online.

FAQs

  • If something feels off, even if you can’t fully explain it, that’s often a good place to start. You don’t need to have a clear problem or a specific goal. Many people come simply wanting to understand themselves better.

  • Individual counselling can support you in understanding patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. This might include navigating life transitions, identity questions, stress, or feeling stuck in ways you don’t fully understand.

  • Talking to people close to you can be helpful, but it often comes with existing roles, expectations, or biases. Counselling offers a space that is neutral, focused entirely on you, and guided in a way that helps you understand deeper patterns rather than just the surface.

  • That’s completely okay. It’s very common, especially at the beginning. My role is to help guide the conversation so we can make sense of what’s coming up for you, even if it doesn’t feel clear at first.

  • No. You don’t need to have a clear problem or know exactly what you want to work on before you start. Many people come to counselling with a general sense that something doesn’t feel quite right, even if they can’t put it into words yet. Part of the process is making sense of that together.

  • Most people start with weekly or fortnightly sessions, depending on what feels manageable. We can adjust this over time based on what feels helpful and sustainable for you.
